In Botmock, you may come to a point in designing your conversation experiences where you will need to export your Flows as videos or isolate certain conversation paths into their own previews in order to improve collaboration and overall structure of expected behavior in the project. For this, Journeys is the best feature.
Please note that the "Journeys" feature was previously called "Previews" in an older version of Botmock.
Creating a Journey
These are the steps to creating a new conversation journey in your Flow Project.
- Open your project.
- From the left-hand features tabs, select "Journeys"
- From here, click the "CREATE NEW JOURNEY" button
- After, you will be prompted to name your journey, and then select the content blocks in a sequence for your previews and example paths.
- And that's it! You now have Journeys that can be run, modified, and exported.
Running a Journey
To run a conversation journey in the editor, you can simply go back to the "Journeys" tab, find the journey you want to run from the list, and hit the "Run" button.
From here, you will be able to see your conversation scenario in a "Preview" setting, where you won't be able to interact with the bot like in the simulator
Downloading a Journey
To download your Journey as an MP4, go to the "Journeys" tab once more, and click on the "Download" button.
After that, you should receive an MP4 version of your conversation flow preview within a minute or two at the email under your account.
And with that, happy collaborating! As always, if you have questions or feedback, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get back to you.
