This article is about the account security settings for the current user. For information on how Botmock protects it's user data, privacy and security checkout the FAQ article: What kind of security does Botmock have?
To access your account security settings, click your profile image at the top right corner of the app. Then from the drop-down menu, select Account Security:
You will be taken to this screen:
Change your password
You can change your password from here.
Enable/disable two-factor authentication
By enabling two-factor authentication, you can add an extra layer of security to your account. After you set it up, you'll sign in to your account in two steps using both your password and your mobile device.
Please note that you will need to install Google Authenticator on your mobile device to use it for login verification.
Click the Set up Two-factor Authentication button to enable it. You will see the following screen:
Open the Google Authenticator app on your mobile device and scan the QR code from the screen.
If you are having trouble scanning the code, click the ‘Try this instead’ link. This way, Botmock will show you a 16-character long code instead (it will look something like this: 14S4D35Z3WG532O1). Select manual entry on your app and enter the code.
Once you have done scanning the QR code (or manually entered it), the app will give you a security code. Enter the security code on the ‘Security Code’ field and click the Enable button.
