In Botmock, if you are looking for an easy way to jump to a certain path based on different criteria set in connectors, such as message actions, intents, and more, Content Jump Blocks are the feature to help.

Different from Project Jump Blocks, Content Jump Blocks essentially give an easy way to "Jump" to a part of the current conversation flow without having to have explicit connectors connecting two content blocks.

Adding Content Jump Blocks

To add Content Jump Blocks to your project:

  1. Select the "+" icon next to a content block
  2. From the Content Block list, select, "Jump"
  3. In the Options for "I Would Like To...", select "Jump to a content block"
  4. In the options for "Which content block should this block jump to", you can select the appropriate content block that you are looking to jump to.

Testing with Content Jump Blocks

When testing with Content Jump Blocks, the way it appears in the simulator is quite similar to how it works in both the "Run" tab and in Usability Testing. When a jump is activated, you should see a message that says:

From here, testing can be continued on the path following whichever content block is selected.

And with that, happy collaborating! As always, if you have questions or feedback, please email us at and we will get back to you.
